Why Movestax?

Movestax was born from the realization that developers—especially indie hackers, micro-SaaS/info-SaaS founders, and early-stage startups—need a better cloud. One that’s not just flexible, but local, affordable, and designed to scale with you. We’ve been there ourselves—navigating the complex, overwhelming world of AWS, Azure, GCP, and even serverless providers such as Vercel and Railway—so we decided to build something better.

Who are we?

We’re not newcomers to the cloud game. Our team has built some pretty cool stuff over the years—like Amazon Glue and Azure SQL DB—and we’ve worked on other services at AWS and Azure. So, yeah, we know what we’re doing when it comes to cloud infrastructure.

But here’s the kicker: we’re not just building another cloud platform. We’re building a platform that’s focused on you—the dev, the startup founder, the person who’s tired of dealing with unnecessary complexity. We want to give you all the tools you need to build and scale your product without breaking the bank or pulling your hair out.

We’re gearing up to launch our beta in November, 2024, and we’ll have a free tier (because who doesn’t love free?), as well as a pro plan with all the bells and whistles. Movestax is built to help you deploy, manage, and scale your apps seamlessly—and did we mention, with local infrastructure for Latam? That’s right, we’re bringing the cloud closer to home, so you can say goodbye to latency issues and USD billing.

But we’re not stopping there. We’re working on a full stack of resources for builders—think boilerplates, templates, tutorials, courses and more. And if that’s not enough, we’re creating a launch directory where you can showcase your projects and even collaborate with other founders.

We’re convinced that 2025 is going to be the year of the software builder. With AI making it easier than ever to create, everyone—yes, everyone—will be able to launch side projects, micro-SaaS, or info products. And where will they host them? Well, you know the answer.
